Black and White… with Pops of Color

Ciao! While I was in NYC over the Holiday I was able to rummage through my closets and take some photos (even though it was freezing!) Black and white is a classic look. It’s chic and stylish and always works. You can always add a pop of color in an accessory to make it stand out. That is what I decided to do in this post. Below are my updated black and white looks with pops of color.

I like to call these stripe pants my Beetlejuice pants (just don’t say it three times!) They are from Unique Vintage as is this retro top. This is a modern take on a 1950s style look. They can be dressed up with heels like I did here, or down with a T-shirt and flats or boots. I added this stripe Betsey Johnson bag to match with the pop of color in the pink bow and my red shoes I bought in Spain.

Another stripe look. I guess this is my beetle juice jacket? I guess I just found my next Halloween costume. All joking aside this is a pretty cool jacket. It’s an undated tuxedo style jacket with cutouts that I got from the Mango store in Ireland. I usually wear it with an all black look and add the pop of color on my shoes. You can easily style this with a pair of colored jeans (like red) or a bright colored top!

I love the look of a T-shirt and tulle skirt. It combines casual and dressed up. It’s also fun and flirty. I added the pop of color in my shoes to match the lips on my shirt and painted my lips ro match my shirt as well. I wore this look with heels but it would also look great with sneakers if you want to dress it down!
