Hola! It's Latinx heritage month; for some reason, it's from September 15 to October 15. Weird dates aside, I celebrate my Puerto Rican culture all year round, just with a little more emphasis this month. No matter your culture, it's always essential to learn about our culture and history. Texas’ New Laws? About Ending Abortion or About Controlling Women?
Recently, extreme abortion bands have been passed in many states across the country. But Texas has passed the most extreme ones yet. Many "pro-life" supporters fail to realize that no matter how many laws they enact, they will never stop a woman from obtaining an abortion. One of the main goals is to challenge Roe. vs. Wade, the Supreme Court case legalizing abortion nationwide. These bills are also not about ending abortion entirely but mainly about controlling women.
