Why the US Women’s Soccer Team Needs to be Paid Equally
Ciao everyone. Except those who don't think the women's soccer team should be paid equally. We know I am am very much a girly girl and not at all athletic. I couldn't care less about professional sports or how much athletes get paid. But as a feminist I do care about the pay gap between the professional men's and women's soccer teams. In terms of Gender equality the United States is 28th in the world. The WUSST (women's US soccer team) is no exception. The Women's U.S. soccer team is one of the best in the world, yet they are not paid like it. There is a huge pay gap between the two teams and in this post I look to explore why that is and why it is unfair.
