Scottish Kilts

Season five of the TV show Outlander premiered last weekend. I am a big fan if the show. So much so that when I went to Scotland last summer, I did and Outlander tour (nerdy I know.) But while I was there I was very inspired by the fashions and styles I saw there. After doing a lot of shopping, I put together my own Outlander and Scottish inspired look.

The Problem of Child Marriage in the U.S.

Child Marriage. When you think about child marriage you might think it's something that happens in third world countries, or places like India, Africa or the middle east. That is what I thought too at first. But as an activist and a feminist I always make a point of educating myself so I can learn about important issues whether they affect me or not.

I found these newspaper pants while shopping around in Puerto Rico. They are not what you think of when you think traditional island style but there are many different shops, styles and trends.
